Labneh pasta
with lemon


  • 1 tablespoon LIV99 extra-virgin olive oil with lemon
  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup labneh
  • Greens from 1 green onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook for 7 minutes.
  3. Reserve 3/4 cup cooking water and drain pasta.
  4. Return pasta to saucepan.
  5. Stir in ¾ cup pasta water, lemon juice, lemon zest, peas, black pepper, Parmesan, lemon zest, labneh, green onions and LIV99 extra-virgin olive oil with lemon.
  6. Simmer ingredients over low heat for 2 minutes.
  7. Finish with pepper and more Parmesan to taste.
